Description
GHK-Cu is the copper complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, a tripeptide that occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine. A large body of skin-biology, wound-healing and gene-expression research describes its remodeling and antioxidant activity.
Supplied by LiliPeptide in boxes of 10 vials, priced per box. The strength shown is the amount in each vial.
Research notes
Collagen and tissue remodeling
In fibroblast cultures the copper tripeptide has been reported to increase collagen and glycosaminoglycan production and to modulate matrix metalloproteinases, and animal models show faster wound contraction. Plasma GHK falls considerably with age, one reason skin-aging research focuses on it.
Effects on gene expression
Large transcriptome analyses suggest GHK shifts the expression of many genes toward patterns linked to tissue repair and antioxidant defense. That points to broad signaling effects rather than a single receptor, although these computational findings still need functional confirmation.
