Description
Retatrutide is a single peptide that activates three receptors: GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon. It remains investigational, and metabolic research studies whether the added glucagon activity raises energy expenditure and body-weight effects beyond those of dual-incretin compounds.
Supplied by LiliPeptide in boxes of 10 vials, priced per box. The strength shown is the amount in each vial.
Research notes
Triple-hormone-receptor agonist retatrutide for obesity
In a phase 2 trial, retatrutide produced dose-dependent weight reductions that rank among the largest reported for an incretin-class compound. Part of the effect is attributed to glucagon-receptor activity, which is thought to increase energy expenditure while the incretin component reduces intake. Phase 3 studies are ongoing.

Liver fat in triple-agonist research
Imaging substudies found large drops in liver-fat fraction. This fits preclinical work showing that glucagon-receptor signaling increases fat oxidation in the liver, and it has become a distinctive line of triple-agonist research.
